American Gritty

This is not a clean revival; it is an unearthing.

American Gritty is a raw fusion of Appalachian Blues and American Folk, stripped of modern polish and returned to the dirt. Rooted in the 1920s tradition of the old mountain masters, these songs are built on stark banjo drones and a weathered, percussive grit.

This record trades showmanship for the cold reality of a hillside field recording. It captures a singular pulse of rural loneliness, coal dust, and midnight isolation—a sound that feels pulled directly from the ridges and left to linger like a ghost in the room.
